Wunda Chair at Primrose Hill
At Exhale, the work doesn’t change – but the way you experience it can.
Due to popular demand Wunda Chair classes at our Primrose Hill studio are here to stay. For many clients, the Reformer and Mat are where the journey begins. The Wunda Chair offers something else entirely.
A different way to experience the work
The Chair is deceptively simple in its design.
With less to rely on, there’s a shift in how the body responds. Movements feel more immediate, and feedback comes more quickly. You begin to notice how you’re moving in a much clearer way — where you feel strong, and where things require a bit more attention.
It’s not about making the work harder. It’s about making it more precise.
Over time, the work on the Chair develops strength and stability in a way that feels balanced and sustainable. It encourages the body to support itself properly, rather than relying on momentum or compensation.
What many people notice is not just a change in strength, but a change in awareness — a stronger connection to how the body moves, both in the studio and beyond it.
Part of a complete system
The Wunda Chair is part of the original system.
Spending time on different pieces of apparatus allows you to experience the work more fully. Each one offers a slightly different perspective, but they all lead back to the same principles.
For those who are already practising regularly, it’s an opportunity to deepen your understanding. For those newer to the method, it offers a chance to explore it from another angle.
